About...

THE GREATEST INTERACTIVE RPG ADVENTURE FICTION GAME is a joke "game" made for the Really Bad IF Jam, with the goal to create the worst possible IF game. This year I decided to poke some fun at overwhelming character creators in a specific scene of IF, multi-ending games, and myself - for thinking I could make good RPGs. It was also meant as an example for my Character Creation Template - though not a great one, compared to the template itself.

Half of the time was spent transposing the template into the game (though it would have been funny to keep the explanations), while the rest was used writing all 65 different endings. Rather than planning everything, drafting, and polishing, I just... took one element from the Character Creation section, and wrote something around it. There was no particular reason for settling at 65 - more the ok, I just want to be done with this feeling.

As the jam requests, it is almost completely unpolished and untested.

One thing I wished I'd completed (but I was too over it then), was the actual prologue/introduction. I'd planned to take the prologue of The Thick Table Tavern, and expand it to include the whole character creator. Stretching it to the max, partly as a response to the criticism TTTT had gotten about the prologue when released, partly because it would have made for a really creepy experience - a bit à-la Please Answer Carefully.
