Your content life aboard the SPS Iron Hammer is disrupted with the awakening of a new crew member, and his erratic behaviour. A worrisome truth plagues you: the young man is the only person remembering his life prior to his arrival.
SPS Iron Hammer is a relatively short sci-fi mystery interactive story, set aboard the titular spaceship. It was originally created for the Interact-IF Game Jam, under the ranked theme of 'cliffhanger'.
While I do believe in the story behind it, and have a plan on how it could be expanded to satisfy the mystery, I don't think the actual entry didn't manage to meet the theme truly. In my excitement about the premise, I missed the timing to make a great cliffhanger (made it one scene longer than it should have been), which cheapened somewhat the reveal. Yet, I am fond of this game, thanks to the valuable lessons it taught me.
After collecting the feedback from the jam, I doodled some potential paths to complete the story, past the cliffhanger, provide a proper conclusion to the story, and include investigative mechanics. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get back to this project yet.

This was one of my favorites so far. I thought the UI was killer. This had such a solid feel to it, and you should be proud of how you made it look. The story was good, and the world-building worked really well for me.

Very interesting premise! I love sci-fi, especially with settings that first appear mysterious and involve A.I.s that potentially operate under dubious morality. My favorite part of this story was actually the start, before we meet Jake. I found those sections were the most interesting and provided a good view into life on the ship.
