In the Blink of an Eye is a short spooky interactive story, made under 4h for the 2023 edition of the EctoComp, with an unaltered interface for the Bare-Bones Jam, and written in Ink for the inkJam.
In its limited size, the story aims to brush on themes of aimlessness, survival, and fatalism. The game was praised for the available content considering the tight creation schedule, and for its mysterious atmosphere.
The game reached 2nd in the French EctoComp, 6th in the English EctoComp, and 10th at the inkJam. It was also nominated for Outstanding Short Game at the 2023 IFDB Awards.
