La Petite Mort is a short slice-of-life interactive puzzle created for the 2022 Edition of the EctoComp, submitted to the similarly titled sub-competition, for which the creation of a game must be completed under 4h.
Praised for the amount of content available for a game created within this short of a time frame, the game was voted first in its category! It was also nominated for Outstanding French Game at the 2022 IFDB Awards.
In 2023, La Petite Mort was remastered and translated into English. That version was subimtted to the 2023 Edition of the EctoComp, for which it reached 5th place.

Overall, I thought it was well-written and looked nice. The grandma is a neat character, very intriguing. And the UI is beautiful.

Ah, the amusing lightbulb moment when you realize the reason for the title. Very cute. I liked Suzette, and just going through the simple tasks and petting animals while gradually learning more about the grandmother.
